Cetotherium (name meaning "Whale Beast") is a genus of baleen whales that originated during the Miocene epoch. It was often preyed upon by Megalodon. Measuring around 15 meters in length and related to modern baleen whales, the first skeleton of Cetotherium was discovered in 1925. These whales lived up 10 million years ago.

In Series 4, a pod of Cetotherium were brought back to the park. They reside at the Primeval Aquarium Exhibit.

  • Cetotherium was one of the few creatures not brought to the park on its first encounter.
