Prehistoric Earth: A Natural History Wiki

Corythosaurus (name meaning "Helmet Lizard") is a genus of lambeosaurine hadrosaurid dinosaur that originated during the Late Cretaceous period in what is now North America. A relative of Parasaurolophus, this herbivorous dinosaur is distinguished by its bright colors and impressive head crest.

In the Series 2 episode "Super Croc II: River of Death", a herd of Corythosaurus (consisting of five adults, and eight juveniles) were brought to the park from Late Cretaceous Alberta 75 million years ago. They reside in the Hadrosaur Springs Enclosure and recently welcomed some hatchlings into the herd.
