Cryolophosaurus (name meaning "Cold Crest Lizard") is a genus of neotheropod dinosaur that originated during the Late Jurassic period in what is now Antarctica. Measuring six meters in length, it is one of the first and largest early giant carnivorous dinosaurs to exist.
In the Series 4 episode "New Arrivals", a pack of Cryolophosaurus were brought to the park from Early Jurassic Antarctica, 182.7 million years ago.
