Daeodon (name meaning "Dreadful Tooth"), commonly referred to as Dinohyus (name meaning "Terrible Hog"), sometimes called the Giant Boar is a genus of entelodont artiodactyl that originated during the Middle Oligocene epoch in what is now North America. Often referred to as the "Boar from Hell", this is the largest species of swine that ever existed.
In the Series 3 episode "The Big, the Bad, and the Ugly," a few Daeodon were brought to the park from Late Oligocene North America, 24 million years ago.

Daeodon stood 2 metres tall and weighed 1 ton, making them the size of rhino.
Daeodon had massive jaws with sharp teeth that were built to crush bone. They had hooves that helped them run fast to catch prey they hunted.
