Kentisuchus is a genus of gavialoid crocodylian that lived during the Early Eocene in what is now Europe.
In the Series 3 premiere "New Dawn," several Kentisuchus were brought to the park from Early Eocene Germany, 49 million years ago after nearly getting killed by volcanic gas. They reside in the Crocodilian Lake Enclosure.
