Nanosaurus (name meaning "Dwarf Lizard"), also called Othnielia (name meaning "For Othniel"), is a genus of neornithischian dinosaur that originated during the Late Jurassic period in what is now North America. Measuring 2 meters long, weighing 10 kg, and named after its original describer, this small dinosaur is a relative of Dryosaurus.
In the episode "Land of Giants II: Ballad of Big Al", a flock Nanosaurus were brought to the park from Late Jurassic Wyoming, 150 million years ago. They reside in the Ostrich Paddock Enclosure.
