The Polar Bear (Ursus maritimus) is a species of hypercarnivorous bear native to the north Arctic, specifically North America and Eurassia. The largest extant bear species in the Holocene, it stands over 3 meters tall and weighs 800 kg.
Prior to the start of the series a family of Polar Bears were brought to the park from North America. They reside in the Bear Country Enclosure with their Ice Age Relatives.
