Prehistoric Earth: A Natural History Wiki

Psittacosaurus (named meaning "Parrot Lizard") is a genus of herbivorous ceratopsian dinosaur that originated during the Early Cretaceous period in what is now Asia. One of the most well-known dinosaurs, Psittacosaurus is also the smallest and perhaps the earliest known ceratopsian dinosaur.

In the Series 2 episode "Dinobirds," a herd of ten Psittacosaurus were brought to the park from Early Cretaceous China, 125 million years ago.
