Prehistoric Earth: A Natural History Wiki

Cervalces scotti, the elk moose or stag-moose, is a species of large deer that lived in North America during the Late Pleistocene epoch. It had palmate antlers that were more complex than those of a moose and a muzzle more closely resembling that of a typical deer. It is the only known North American member of the genus Cervalces.

In the Series 3 finale "Mammoth's Undertaking Journey II: The Eternal Frontier", a herd of a dozen Stag Moose were brought to the park from Late Pleistocene North America, 11,000 years ago. They reside in the Mammoth Tundra Enclosure with other animals including the famous Woolly Mammoths.
