Struthiomimus (name meaning "Ostrich Mimic") is a genus of omnivorous ornithomimid dinosaur that originated during the Late Cretaceous period in what is now North America. A relative of Gallimimus and Ornithomimus, this omnivore is one of the more common small dinosaurs.
In the Series 2 finale "Death of a Dynasty II: The Return of the King," a flock of Struthiomimus were brought to the park from Late Cretaceous Montana, 65 million years ago. They reside in the Ostrich Paddock enclosure with their relatives.
