Styracosaurus (name meaning "Spiked Lizard") is a genus of ceratopsian dinosaur that originated during the Late Cretaceous period in what is now North America. Measuring around five meters long and weighing three tons, this dinosaur is recognizable via the single horn protruding from its nose and the long parietal spikes extending from its neck frill.
In the Series 2 episode "Super Croc II: River of Death", a herd of Styracosaurus (consisting of seven adults, and five juveniles) were brought to the park from Late Cretaceous Alberta 75 million years ago. They reside in the Ceratopsian Grasslands Enclosure and recently welcomed hatchlings into the herd.
