Prehistoric Earth: A Natural History Wiki

Supersaurus (name meaning "Super Lizard") is a genus of sauropodomorph dinosaur that originated during the Late Jurassic in what is now North America. Measuring 35 meters long and weighing 50 tons, this massive sauropod shared the Jurassic floodplains with the similarly-built Apatosaurus and Diplodocus.

In the episode "Land of Giants II: Ballad of Big Al", a small herd of Supersaurus (consisting of seven adults, and four sub-adults) were brought to the park from Late Jurassic Wyoming, 150 million years ago. They reside in the Sauropod Grasslands Enclosure with many of their fellow sauropod relatives.
