Tarchia (meaning "brainy one") is a genus of herbivorous ankylosaurid dinosaur from the late Cretaceous period in what is Mongolia, in central Asia.

In the Series 2 episode, "The Giant Claw," a herd of Tarchia were brought to the park from Late Cretaceous Mongolia, 80 million years ago. They reside in the Ankylosaur Woodland Enclosure.
