Prehistoric Earth: A Natural History Wiki

Last time, disgraced veterinarian Rebecca Slatters has taken her first steps into the world of prehistory. Now, we will endure adventures that tell the extraordinary story of life before the dinosaurs. A time when strange and savage creatures fought a ruthless battle to rule the Earth. Amongst them were our own earliest ancestors, who's survival would decide whether we humans would exist at all. As they evolve, these bizarre creatures create the blueprints not only for our bodies, but for everything living today. This is life's forgotten story. An epic war for our world. A war between monsters. On our very first mission, we dive into the shallow seas of the Cambrian Era, to rescue the first ever fish and the world's original apex predator.

Synopsis[]

Allen, Rebecca, and their team begin their first prehistoric rescue mission by traveling back in time to the Cambrian to rescue a fish the size of a human thumb and a predatory arthropod.

Plot[]

Allen prepares to get ready for their very first prehistoric rescue mission as he goes to Joanna and informs her that will go North America 530 million years ago during the Early Cambrian to rescue a small fish as big as a thumb called Haikouichthys and the world's first apex predator which is a carnivorous arthropod called Anomalocaris. Later, Allen shows Rebecca an illusion of Earth 4.4 billion years ago which during the time, the planet was toxic world with lethal acid clouds covering the sky and meteorites raining down on the planet. He then shows another planet called Theia colliding into which eventually lead to the formation of the moon. He also show how oceans starting to form and eventually tells Rebecca during that time life on Earth was about to begin. The team opens the portal and arrives on the coastline of Early Cambrian North America 530 million years ago as both Allen and Becca puts their scuba diving gear on and goes into the sea. They spot a large group of jellyfish as Allen tells Rebecca that life have been evolving for millions of years as different kinds of animals were thriving in the sea.

They soon found some Trilobites from the Redlichia species roaming the ocean floor near some small primitive worms called Ottoia. Soon Rebecca and Allen found one of the animals to save: an Anomalocaris which snatches one of the Trilobites. They get both the Trilobites and some Ottoia to the park's aquarium enclosure as one of their first prehistoric residents as they go to rescue Anomalocaris. Allen and Rebecca watches two Anomalocaris fight each other with their armor and their disk-like mouths before one of them bends the others rigid armor to far which caused it to split as they spot a large school of Haikouichthys feeding on it. the team rescues several Anomalocaris and the school of Haikouichthys and brings them to the park's aquarium.

Next time, we venture into a time when the world was ruled by creepy crawlies to rescue a large creature fantastically unsuited to humankind.
